About Ali…

My background is in nursing, where I developed a deep respect for the body and mind.

My career took me to Sydney, where I lived and worked for six years, including in neonatal intensive care. During this time, I turned to yoga to support my own wellbeing alongside the demands of shift work.

Over the years, through teacher trainings in Australia and Bali, yoga became an important part of my life. It was also during this time, following a period of burnout, I was introduced to acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

I was drawn to its perspective of the body and mind as an interconnected system, where physical, emotional and mental health are not treated separately, but as part of a whole. It felt like a natural meeting point between my clinical experience and a more holistic approach to care.

This led me to return to the UK to train in acupuncture, where I am now completing my degree in Five Element and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

My work today is shaped by this integration. It brings together my background in healthcare with a more individualised, attentive approach. Taking the time to listen, to understand patterns within the body and to support long-term change rather than short-term fixes.

While yoga and meditation continue to inform my work, acupuncture now sits at the centre of my practice.

At its core, my intention is simple: to offer a space where you feel listened to, supported and at ease in your body.
